Who is the Real Traitor?

By terming superstar Shah Rukh Khan a traitor, Bal Thackeray, along with Shiv Sena, has proved this Hindi proverb right – Ulta Chor Kotwal Ko Daante since Thackeray himself has been a traitor all these years. Below is the list of his and his party’s activities. Read it and decide for yourself as to who is the real traitor.

  • During the start of his party, Thackeray started wooing the Marathi population by acting as their messiah. A clear and calculated vote-bank policy.
  • To achieve this, he and his party started agitating against people from other states and at times, literally, bashed them up. They achieved acceptance from the local population by this division policy.
  • After getting acceptance in Maharashtra, Thackeray and his party became greedier. Now, they wanted acceptance in other states hence, their anger for outsiders (as they call them) suddenly vanishes. In order to get acceptance in other parts of the country, Thackeray came out with the term Hindutva. Clearly the most shameful vote-bank tactic. Shameful because it’s an out and out effort to divide people in the name of religion hence destroying unity.
  • Thackeray and Shiv Sena’s role in the 1992 riots is well known. Thackeray’s anti-Muslim and anti-Christian speeches and articles have been a regular feature of his life.
  • Thackeray has shamelessly insulted a number of celebrities and famous personalities in order to gain political mileage and publicity.
  • There are hundreds of occasions where Shiv Sena activists have inhumanly bashed innocents just to justify their stand. Public property worth crore of rupees have been destroyed by their gundagardi. The way they bashed-up youngsters celebrating Valentine’s Day will always stay fresh in everybody’s minds.
  • Recently, they destroyed IBN-Lokmat’s office just because they couldn’t hear the truth. What’s more, Thackeray termed this cowardly act as an act of bravery.

The above mentioned points are way less than a summary of Thackeray and Shiv Sena’s anti-national activities. If one goes to list down each and every such activity of theirs, one will surely end up writing a book.

So who is the real traitor? You decide!

And coming back to Thackeray’s stand on Shah Rukh, let’s get his attention to this – A cultural fest called Aman Ki Asha is going on in Mumbai where, daily, Pakistani artists are showcasing their talent. So, why no protest on this? This clearly shows their intention of gaining publicity by targeting a huge star and his hugely awaited movie My Name Is Khan.

    • Thanks for the comment dear.
It’s because people and government have allowed them to bark and spread terror that they are riding high. But things are changing. They are getting it back from the public and will continue to get.

      May unity prevail!

I dont know what this link is,also i dont know what you have written over here.

All i know is i am an Indian first then a Marathi Manoos and i feel very ashamed of Thackerey clan they are defaming my Maharashtra and my Marathi culture. Also i would like to say that educated Marathi Manoos have nothing to do with such dirty politics.

I felt very proud when Sachin Tendulkar said “i am extremely proud to be maharashtrian but i am an indian first”.There are problem related to Marathi manoos in its own state but we do not support hate politics we need to understand each other because we are INDIAN FIRST.

Shivaji Maharaj never ever taught to hate people who are our very “own”.

    Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra !!!!!!!
